KITT has backed himself, literally, into a corner of the garage, away from the lights. He really doesn't want to face Bonnie right now. The ebony of his hide blends into the shadows, swallowed by them, so maybe Bonnie won't notice him?
The silence coupled with the fact that Kitt kept trying to hide from her spoke immeasurable volumes. Putting down the tools she had been gathering, she slinks to the floor. Her turquoise gaze respectfully fixates upon the wall opposite of where he was trying to hide. Wrapping an arm over her knee she breathes, "its okay you know. To make mistakes... to have problems... and to be curious. No one is perfect, Kitt..." She states, in an effort to ease any burden he had placed upon his own axles. "Did I tell you about the time I almost burnt down this garage while you were still being built?"Bonnie pauses for a moment, letting out a nervous laugh. "I was so anxious to impress the great Wilton Knight that I became all thumbs on his first visit as my employer. I accidentally put down the lit blow-torch next to a canister of gasoline. Needless to say, I've made many other poor choices-- but working on you..." This time she allows her gaze to slowly drift in his direction. "Working on you gave me purpose. And no matter what you've done... or aided Michael or Rc3 in, I will always love you. You know that... right?" She is trying to cleverly dangle an invitation for him to speak.. about anything and everything he wanted to discuss. That is, if only, he is willing.
Despite himself, he's listening. She doesn't sound angry anymore, more... resigned. And she'd just told him, reiterated to him the fact that she loved him. His tires made a tacky sound on the garage floor as he rolled forward a few inches before he realized he'd even done so. If she didn't know where he was before - and he didn't think she was stupid enough not to know - then he'd just done a good job of giving himself away. With an electronic sigh, and without firing the engine, he slips into neutral and allows himself to roll forward out of the shadows, while still keeping a respectful distance from her.
"You did? What did Mr Knight do? Or Mr Miles?" He couldn't help it, she'd piqued his curiosity, and that was always a weakness.
