Dr. Bonnie Barstow

"I hope you can manage tonight. I've got a hot date," Bonnie states. She holds up a few different sets of earrings to her ears trying to decide which ones were right for the occasion.

"We're out of requisition slips for requisition slips," Bonnie reports with a slight grin. "Isn't that ironic?" Its a rhetorical question; one she doesn't necessarily require an answer to.

Allowing her turquoise hues to study the other, she asks, "do you know anything about this?"

“So I wrote a paper about self-driving cars for my driver’s ed class. My teacher wrote, “this paper isn’t a supposed to be a work of science fiction.” I wrote back and said, I’m glad we have an understanding. This not a work of fiction. I still can’t understand why he failed me,” Bonnie explained with a sheepish shrug of her shoulders and a gentle smile.

“I mean he asked for a paper on art of driving. Doesn’t a self-driving car fit that description?” Bonnie quizzed.

Wary hues of turquoise study the other with alarm etched into every coil and fleck.
A heavy sigh is expelled from her lungs. "Listen..." Her voice tense with worry. "I don't think this is a good idea."
