Wary hues of turquoise study the other with alarm etched into every coil and fleck.
A heavy sigh is expelled from her lungs. "Listen..." Her voice tense with worry. "I don't think this is a good idea."

KITT's voice sounded weary and resigned. Once Michael made up his mind to do something, there wasn't usually any changing it. KITT had long ago grown accustomed to simply going along with his plans, as it was much easier than trying to talk sense into the man! What really galled him was that most of the time, Michael's instincts turned out to be right.

Her feet shift across the haul of the semi in an effort to actively dispel the sense of dread she feels welling up inside of her.
Bonnie trusts Kitt's instincts far greater than Michael's. However, Michael had been trained as a cop. What if he was truly on to something?
"You'll be with me the entire time. Right?" She queries, her turquoise hues searching him. She abhors flying. Her fear of flight was compounded by the fact that the last time she took a plane to her sister's wedding, it had been taken over by some less than pleasant individuals. She wasn't exactly embracing this new found opportunity in order to catch a killer.

Fine. In this instance, it probably was. That didn't mean he had to like it, and he knew Bonnie didn't either.
"I'm sure it will be fine." He didn't sound convinced.

The words, "I'm sure it will be fine" have been spoken so frequently to her that she had nearly become callous to them. Internally, she has a feeling- a sixth sense of sorts- that something was bound to go wrong. If this sensation was caused of her father's untimely air-travel related death or because of the last flight she personally took, Bonnie can not say.
Then putting on an outward facade for Kitt's sake she breathes, "yeah. What could go wrong?"
Under her breath she tersely adds, "we're only going to be 22,000 feet or higher above the earth."
This is her first time riding in the cargo department of a plane. Honestly, it didn't seem extremely pleasant. At least in the cargo area it would be easier to spot trouble- wouldn't it? Bonnie, Devon, and Michael were the only one's with permission to be there. Anyone else should draw a red-flag.
Turning her attention back to Kitt she queries, "are you all locked in and ready to go? And more importantly, are you comfortable?" If he wasn't, she was sure going to try and help him.
"Then if you'd like we can go over the case..." She offers. Distractions would probably help keep their minds from conjuring up the unpleasant possibilities and potential for death.

There were plenty of things that could go wrong, and KITT could list each one of them - but in this instance, he would spare Bonnie his too-extensive knowledge of air travel disasters. KITT would be on the alert, interfacing with the plane's computers, scanning for anything that could possibly pose a danger. At least in the cargo area he would be more able to protect his charges should something go drastically wrong - he hoped.
"All locked in, and... as ready as I'll ever be. Am I comfortable?" He's gotten more adept at lying. "I'm just peachy, Bonnie. Never better." His voice sounded relieved when she suggested going over the case.
"Could we? Yes, please. Have you discovered anything new?" Bonnie usually programmed him with the information she and Devon had dug up to prepare them for the case.

“Good.” She replies. Just to be certain, she takes an extra glance not because she doubted Kitt, but because Bonnie needed to mentally reassure herself of his safety. She knows he is just about as comfortable as a mouse in a lion’s den. Unfortunately, she shares the sentiment and is powerless to change it.
“I think we might have come up with a few suspects,” Bonnie returns. “May I?” She asks, indicating with a gentle touch to his driver’s side door. The brunette would much rather speak about the case in private than broadcast the Foundation’s investigation. After all, one could never be too careful. Plus it would be easier to have the bonus of Kitt’s computers to help rule out suspects.

"Bonnie, I'm fine." KITT stresses it again, because her fussing is making him more nervous than he was before. If he pulled a thorn out of the lion's paw, could he leave?
The driver's door swings open, allowing her access. "By all means. Maybe we can have this list whittled down to one or two by the time we arrive at our destination."
